Ahh Ackee… the fruit that demands to be treated like a vegetable! In Jamaica we know her well, and only “pick her when she is smiling”. Ackee still loves her first boyfriend Saltfish. Together they still taste divine. Just seems right these two hold the Crown of Jamaica’s National Dish.
